Is A laid-back city with a rich history, where ancient Buddhist temples and quirky markets sit side-by-side with colonial buildings and modern museums. Explore the city on foot, by bicycle, or by tuk-tuk, and you’re bound to discover a host of interesting sights and experiences.

Hello I’m Benjamin, I came to Laos six years ago and have settled in the capital city Vientiane, opening a restaurant and bar with my wife called ‘Tango Bar Restaurant’. It’s in the centre of everything going on, close to the Mekong district, night market & night life: The thing that impressed me most about Lao people and still touches my heart, is their kindness, friendliness and generosity. I love this country especially the untouched regions where the natural world of Lao is astounding. Even though there is no ocean access there is great variety in the beautiful mountains, waterfalls & lakes. As a restaurateur and CK Travel expert, I take great pleasure in sharing French food with Lao people and internationals. Lao people know how to have fun and celebrate good times together, so I know everything happening in this lively city and beyond. I like to be as welcoming as I can to travellers, so will enjoy helping you by sharing my knowledge of the capital and its region.
